Since 2017, V R Dental Maxillofacial Surgery & Implant Center has run on one clinical conviction: complex dentistry belongs with postgraduate specialists who map the destination before starting the procedure. That conviction now anchors both V R Dental — Kukatpally and V R Dental — Bowrampet.
Why we built a specialist-driven practice
A single-doctor general setup handles a filling or a scaling well. Severe jawbone loss, failing bridgework, chronic jaw-joint pain or a collapsed bite is different: one clinical viewpoint is rarely enough. Rebuilding a mouth to work comfortably for the next twenty years needs surgical precision below the gumline and biomechanical judgement above it.
We opened V R Dental in Kukatpally in 2017 to close that gap. Instead of visiting consultants on an ad-hoc basis, we built a permanent clinical home led full-time by an MDS Prosthodontist and an MDS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, with an in-house panel of postgraduate specialists.
By 2026, families across Bowrampet, Bachupally, Pragathi Nagar, Nizampet, Mallampet and Bollaram were crossing the city for specialist-grade care. In September 2026 we opened V R Dental — Bowrampet on Simhapuri Colony Main Road with the same specialist team, the same diagnostic standards and a shared patient record system, so care continues seamlessly at either location.
Dual-specialty co-diagnosis
At V R Dental you are never passed down a chain of junior dentists. Your care, from reading the CBCT scan to seating the final prosthesis, is planned and performed by MDS specialists.
What sets both clinics apart is prosthetic-first planning:
- Step 1 — the end result is designed first. Dr. CH Vyshnavi (MDS Prosthodontist & Implantologist, 15+ years; Essentials by Invisalign™ Certified Doctor) designs the final bite before any implant is placed or tooth prepared, working out how chewing forces will load the jaw so the eventual zirconia crowns or full-arch rehabilitation looks natural and lasts.
- Step 2 — surgery follows the design. From that blueprint, Dr. Ram Mohan S (MDS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon & Implant Specialist, 15+ years) carries out the surgical phase: Osstem or Adin dental implants in compromised bone, sinus lifts, impacted wisdom tooth removal, TMJ and facial trauma care under maxillofacial surgery, each tailored to support the planned teeth.
Because the surgeon and the restorative specialist review your diagnostics together, decisions are made before surgery, not during it.
Four commitments that guide every consultation
Whether you visit Vivekananda Nagar Colony (Kukatpally) or Vijay Chowk (Bowrampet), four internal standards apply:
1. Diagnostics dictate decisions. We do not guess at what lies beneath the gumline. Digital radiography and 3D imaging map nerve canals, sinus floors and bone volume before any solution is proposed.
2. Written plans, no surprises. Before treatment begins you receive a written treatment plan with the clinical phases, expected visits, alternatives and a transparent fee breakdown.
3. Conservative ethics first. Advanced surgical skill includes knowing when not to use it. If a tooth can be predictably saved with a root canal and crown, we will say so before discussing an implant.
4. Long-term accountability. We use globally supported implant systems (Osstem and Adin) so components remain available ten or fifteen years on, backed by scheduled maintenance recalls at both clinics.
Six postgraduate specialties, seven MDS specialists, under one roof
Complex dental problems rarely stay within one specialty. A smile makeover may first need root canal therapy, gum treatment or orthodontic alignment. Rather than referring you across Hyderabad, both clinics bring the remaining specialties in-house alongside Dr. CH Vyshnavi and Dr. Ram Mohan S:

Can I split appointments between Kukatpally and Bowrampet?
Yes. Both clinics use the same patient records and imaging, and the same MDS specialists consult at both by appointment. You can complete a consultation or follow-up at whichever location is closer that day.
How is V R Dental different from a dental chain?
V R Dental was founded and is clinically led by its MDS specialists, Dr. CH Vyshnavi and Dr. Ram Mohan S. The doctors who plan your treatment are the same doctors who review it years later, and recommendations come from diagnosis, not targets.
What happens at a second-opinion visit?
We regularly see patients advised complex or expensive treatment elsewhere. The relevant specialist independently reviews your scans, explains whether the proposed treatment is clinically justified, and gives you a written summary of conservative and advanced options.
Why Osstem and Adin implants?
Beyond documented integration success, both systems have long clinical track records and standardised prosthetic components, so a screw or crown can be serviced a decade from now.
